Proudly Canadian · Launching soon

Great Canadian software.
At an honest Canadian price.

Quantile Vector builds tools that fix the real, everyday pain points Canadians deal with — at work, at home, and in the places the big software companies forgot about. Software with feeling. Software you'll actually enjoy opening.

System status: building in the workshop. First releases coming soon.
The Lineup

Coming soon from the workshop

Nothing's shipped yet — we'd rather launch late than launch half-baked. Here's what's on the bench.

QV Ledger

QV Ledger

Personal finance, the honest way

Born from a homemade “bleed report” spreadsheet — the one that showed exactly where every dollar was leaking. QV Ledger turns that into a proper app that tells you the truth about your spending, without selling you out.

  • Private & local-first — your finances stay on your device
  • See where the money bleeds, at a glance
  • Built for Canadian banking, dollars and habits
  • No ads. No data brokering. Ever.

QV Alpha Pass

QV Alpha Pass

Passwords for the frontline IT desk

Built by someone who's read “capital-B, lowercase-l, the number one, no — the letter I” over the phone a thousand times. Strong passwords that humans can actually say out loud.

  • Generate strong, readable passwords in one tap
  • Phonetic breakdown — “Alpha, seven, x-ray…”
  • Made for help desks, MSPs and tired techs
  • Works offline. Nothing leaves your device.

More in the crate

Business tools, IT utilities and everyday helpers are being sanded, fitted and tested. Each one solves a problem we've lived through ourselves.

Be first to know
The Canadian Promise

Made here. Made for here.

We're a small Canadian shop, and we intend to stay one in spirit — no matter how big we get.

Built in Canada

Designed, written and supported by Canadians who know the winters, the bureaucracy, and the long drive between towns.

An honest Canadian price

Fair, upfront pricing in Canadian dollars. No dark patterns, no surprise renewals, no paying extra to stop being upsold.

Your data stays yours

Local-first wherever possible. We don't sell your information, and we don't build products that need to.

Design Philosophy

Software should have feeling

Somewhere along the way, software got flat, grey and forgettable. We think that was a mistake.

Field notes — K.V.

Remember the first computer that felt like yours?

Glass that glowed. Buttons you wanted to press.

Every pixel felt like someone cared.

That's the feeling I'm chasing.

Tools that feel familiar the first time

you open them — like coming home.

Depth, texture, light. Not a spreadsheet

wearing a hoodie.

— build it right, eh.

Depth over flatness

Real light, real shadow, real texture. Interfaces you can read at a glance because things look like what they do.

Nostalgic on purpose

Our apps borrow the warmth of the era when software felt crafted. Familiar from the first click, without the 2007 bugs.

Tools I wish I'd had

Every product starts as a problem we hit in the field — on the job site, at the help desk, at 3 a.m. on call.

Serve the under-served

Small businesses, rural communities, frontline workers. The folks big software treats as an afterthought come first here.

// PERSONNEL FILE — FOUNDER

Kaelyn Vector

Founder & CEO, Quantile Vector

Before the servers, there were job sites. Kaelyn Vector came up the hard way — framing walls through Canadian winters, hauling lumber at minus thirty, learning that a crooked foundation ruins everything built on top of it. That lesson never left.

The pivot to IT came with a fresh diploma, a pile of hand-me-down hardware, and decades of tinkering — rebuilt machines, triple-boot rigs, homebuilt appliances stitched together from parts old and new. Today Vector works the trenches as a systems administrator: the 3 a.m. pages, the servers nobody documented, the small businesses running payroll on a machine older than the intern.

Vector has seen things. Flawed systems held together by duct tape and hope. Whole industries limping along on tools that were never built for them. Rural shops and frontline workers paying big-city prices for software that treats them like an afterthought. Every time, the same thought: I could build this better.

Quantile Vector is that thought, finally acted on — and a promise to every young tech fresh out of school, staring at a problem with no good tool to solve it. These are the tools Vector wishes someone had handed over on day one.
